"I PLAY WOW" - NEW VERSE

It's a Cataclysm, so you know what that means

I'm heading back to Azeroth,

And You Still Ain't Stopping Me

My Equips Now Heroic

And My guild brings me glory

And I'm Crushing all noobs

With my Pally that's holy

People jus don't get it

And I'm through explaining

This is a way of life

It's much more than just gaming

I'm with 10 million friends

while you're alone and complaining

The more fun that I have

The more that you are disdaining

When I'm online I'm like a million bucks

Earning interest while I play

while your reality sucks

Still people like to hate discrimante and be mean

But in my world we work together to defeat DEATHWING

Mom's still baning on my door

Oh you wasting your life...

Will you please shut up! I'm on a raid tonight!

I got crowds to control

So my guild can survive

And my level is now way past 85!

By Sakis Mavromatis

If you are planning to buy a gaming video card you will need to know what to look for. It is highly likely that you will end up feeling very disappointed if you just run out and buy the first one that you come across. When it comes to this type of purchase you need to know what to look for.

Here are a few ideas to help you choose wisely.

- It is important for you to decide what you actually want from a video gaming card before buying it. Paying out a lot for a video gaming card and then realising that it won't let you play the games you want would be a real shame. You need to make sure that the video gaming card you choose will be suitable for the games you want to play by checking the required specs on the back of your favourite games.

- You also need to take your budget into consideration when buying a video gaming card. The price of video gaming cards can range from under 100 to thousands of pounds for the best ones so this is something you have to consider. Second hand cards are an option but you always take a huge risk with these.

- Brand name video cards will be more expensive than no brand cards but you have to consider whether or not to go for the no name cards. The popular cards tend to be a bit more expensive but you are usually guaranteed good quality. Some of the no brand name video gaming cards are really good but they are much cheaper than the brand name ones. However it is important to get some advice before you opt for this type of card.

- You also have to consider the amount of memory that you want. It is better to get as much as possible.

Dealing With Bullies: To Fight Or Not To Fight

By Paul Nyhart

It's currently the second most popular video on the internet, right behind a fifteen year old young girl singing regarding her most loved day of the week. Casey, the Australian young boy suspended for bodyslamming a kid for taunting, has stimulated editors to come up with their own renditions of the event, including this Street Fighter Zangief online video. Casey never thought he would be a glorified cult hero when he dropped the little one, but that is precisely what he is turning out to be, whether he likes it or not (word of mouth is that he doesn't worry about it).

Now I am not a leading instructor or child psychiatrist, which might not really make a difference when it comes to issues like bullying, nor was I present to be aware of the precise context of what went down. All I know is what I recall when I was a kid: inspirational speakers would always come to our classes and drill into our heads that we were all totally different, and that to be different was okay! One guy entered and painted this mural for like an hour and a half, telling us how awesome we have been in between, as we all looked over one another in bewilderment as to why we were missing gym. Anti-bully campaigns enable you to go online and join petitions, and offer guidelines as to "what is a bully" and "why bullies do the things they do," which raises awareness yet doesn't seem to be truly proactive.

That's why a lot of individuals liked seeing this child piledrive the "bully" into the ground due to the fact that they related with him and wish they could've done exactly the same thing. I'm not saying that classes ought to hold 30 minutes every day for wrestling or combat (that would be fascinating however) but I believe there must surely be an effort to create much more social interaction between pupils, in order to stop kids from feeling unhappy. We once had thirty-five minutes scheduled right at the end of the day for "silent reading," with most of that time wasted gazing into space or watching our educators get a head start on grading our paperwork. Bullies would always exist, but their impact is directly related to the number of friends the person being picked on has or how lonely they really feel.

Social clubs are fantastic, but precisely how many of them are centered on kids that routinely receive a lot of crap from bullies? It is not rocket science, kids don't need information on which children are bullies, and kids can care less about their objectives or "exactly why bullies do what they do". The truth is, bullies become significantly less of a challenge when the children they pick on have a lot more friends, and most clubs are geared towards people that already have lots of friends. Bullies frequently pick on the new children because they're naturally alone. Exactly how many educational institutions have programs that are aimed towards assimilating new students?

The Street Fighter Video is wonderful as it creatively, and more or less freakishly, transforms Street Fighter right into a "realistic depiction of a genuine event." But most notably, it shows what anti-bullying campaigns are lacking: authority, a key figure who takes a stand and who everyone could rally around and not feel lonely.

Mass Effect - 1.6 million copies sold

Mass Effect is an action RPG where the player assumes the role of an elite human soldier called Commander Shepard who sets out to explore the Galaxy on a starship, the SSV Normandy in the year 2183. The titular mass effect is a form of inertia-suppressing technology, allowing faster-than-light travel. A sequel, Mass Effect 2 (not an Xbox 360 exclusive) takes place 2 years after the events in the first game and utilises the players' completed save data from the first Mass Effect game to impact events and storylines within the second game.

Dead Rising - 1.6 million copies sold

Dead Rising is a sandbox, action-adventure, survival horror game and centres on Frank West, a photojournalist who ends up trapped in a shopping mall infested with zombies. Frank must rescue survivors, contend with crazed psychopaths, defend himself from zombie attacks and stay alive while still attempting to uncover the truth behind the incident. The player controls Frank as he explores the mall, using any available object as a weapon and can complete several main or optional missions to earn Prestige Points to gain special abilities. The game features several endings depending on decisions the player makes along the way.

*A Wii remake was released in February 2009 titled Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop.

Crackdown - 1.5 million copies sold

Crackdown is an open world, third-person shooter where the player controls a biologically enhanced Agent tasked with defeating 3 crime lords and their organised crime syndicates. The Agent's skills improve by defeating both crime lords and their supporters, as well as by completing optional objectives, such as street races and scavenger hunts. The gameplay is nonlinear - instead of following a rigid mission sequence players can select the approach to completing their missions and activities.

N.B. The sales information based on total games sold has been collated from Wikipedia and is correct as of April 2011. The definition of exclusive games in this article is meant to denote games that have not appeared on any other console (i.e. Sony Playstation 3 or Nintendo Wii).

The need to include the sales from the PC version of Gears of War is due to the Wikipedia article indicating it was not possible to distinguish between the sales from the Xbox 360 and the PC version.

Dead Rising made the list as an exclusive Xbox 360 title because a 'remake' for the Wii console (which was released under a different name - Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop) had several changes from the original Xbox 360 version and so believe this an acceptable 'exclusive' title for the Xbox 360.

Sunshine: The Danny Boyle Movie Sypnosis

By Paul Nyhart

Part-thriller, part-horror, total unbelievable awesomeness. Sunshine is a motion picture which has all the things a viewer may wish, but odds are, considering its somewhat short run in theaters as well as limited accessibility in "streaming channels," you haven't been aware of it. Well, we'll pay attention to that!

Sunshine happens fifty years into the future, wherein the sun is about to die and the Earth's survival is in danger. Taxes are most likely twice as high as they are today, gas will cost you nine bucks a gallon, and people are still bitching regarding the real danger of kids playing video game titles, things which the film do not touch on, but are my thoughts nevertheless. A team of astronauts is sent in order to reignite the sun, basically driving every single explosive device Earth has ever developed into the wheel in the sky. The film receives an amazing degree of admiration from me personally because it does not misuse anytime, it sets the table with what is happening, exactly what needs to transpire, and gets directly into it. This is not Armageddon, where you have to sit back and watch Ben Affleck eating off animal biscuits some girl's tummy "waiting around in anticipation for the crew's big moment!"

We don't get a great deal of backstory on the characters, but the stakes happen to be so high it does not matter. Of note, Rose Byrne is among the primary female stars and she is extremely amazing. I've been a big fanatic of her since Adam, which is a completely different ball of wax, but still a good motion picture to watch.

The film takes some radical turns, but nothing that takes us out of the film; these individuals are trying to drive into the sun and put enough dynamite which will turn perhaps Pluto right into a summer season vacation destination, hence "rules" are a very basic idea. The effort always feels conceivable because the dialogue is fresh as well as doesn't try and pull at any kind of emotional heartstrings. I never felt like somebody was bullshitting me or trying too hard in order to vindicate what the hell was taking place. Sunshine poses the concerns, "what if the sun was dying and how will we deal with it". Then without any further ado puts you on the spaceship and sends you into hyper-speed.

Sunshine was produced for 40 million bucks as well as involved 35 rewrites and a year in post-production (in addition to a delay in its launching). Those are not exactly the marks of an awesome motion picture, but the bottom line is, movie director Danny Boyle (who went on to win an Academy Award for Slumdog Millionaire and recently directed 127 Hours) made Sunshine into something extremely extraordinary. It offers aspects of sci-fi which aren't too outlandish for the general crowd, and creates a universe which expands the bounds of natural civilization taking audiences on a very exclusive voyage in the process. Sunshine is not perfect, yet it doesn't have to be. It offers audiences in dire need for something different, an outrageous experience which they could ultimately delight in, and that's actually all that matters by the end of the day.
